Make a satellite with the size of a can.
Cansat is an international annual design-build-launch competition, the main mission is to build a satellite with a diameter of 66 mm and a height of 115 mm. The competition is meant to be a simulation of a real satellite, integrated within the volume and shape of a soft drinks can. The satellite contains different sensors, a battery and a communication system. The CanSat is then launched to an altitude of 1 km by a rocket built by TU Delft. The mission can be split into two missions, the main mission and the secondary mission. The main mission is given by the organisations, to measure air pressure and temperature, to have a safe landing and to send data to the ground station. The secondary mission is up to the teams. For more information on our secondary mission click here.
